The man of MAYHEM! Blake Black, Stage name/ alter ego "The 813" (when on the track). Born in 06' In Elko Nevada got inspired into car culture due to the local demolition Derbys, the video game DIRT Showdown TM, and Kings of Crash. He then went on to start a YouTube channel in 2016, due to him never being able to rewatch the local motorsports and finding no old media on YouTube. He took it upon himself to be his own hero to record events himself and did not expect it to be what it is today. In 2018 he uploaded two videos, one being an old Fortnite mobile clip, and the other being a video of the Monster Truck Insanity Tour. He later that year took them down due to no attraction and embarrassment. Later in 2020 his dad finally took him to the local track called Summit Raceway, for the first time ever, after he begged his parents his entire life. Blake was hooked the second he seen the cars enter the track. fast forward to 2021 Blake remembered his old thinking of how no one in Elko recorded and posted events. He yet again made his comeback on YouTube. He started uploading small clips of the All-American Dirt Drags show in June 2021, Then He uploaded The Burnout Competition at the Commerical Hotel hosted by Rides and Rods. He made some small videos before that of the racetrack and a simple short of his RC car. Later that year he hit it big with his UTC demolition derby video reaching 2.2k views. It was at this time he also started a Tik Tok to go along with his YouTube. Keep in mind Blake was only 15 years old after august in 2021 the derby was his birthday gift. Later that year he found some old footage of his all-time favorite derby The 2013 Elko NV Demolition Derby Uploaded by Jaimie O on YouTube. He then reuploaded it with permission. In January of 2022 Blake stopped making small clips as main content and moved onto his first full show video of the Monster Truck Insanity Tour 2021 both days after that Blake was on a roll and he could not be stopped. The year of 2022 he started getting noticed by a few promoters one of them being Summit Raceway. He started going to the raceway's meetings. Later in December of 2021 Blake requested to be the Raceways Promoter. The Track president Jim Durant Elected Blake for the Track promoter in 2023. This was Blakes biggest year out of it all He had an Instagram at this time now and he decided to make a brand out of himself. he started a website a little before the 2023 season and took off with statistics, reaching people as far as Africa. He had his own recording booth at the track and life was looking great. Earlier that year Blake realized he was tired of going 3+ hours for one demolition derby so he started making proposals to different companies around town to host a derby again as Blake could not do it all by himself as he was only 16. He tried the fairgrounds, local fire dept, Live a Little Productions, and more. It was rejected after reject right as Blake was about to give up his parents took him to Salt Lake for a car show. While Blake was walking the booths and looking at the cars, he noticed a TV display showing derby footage. Blake knowing Derby was his favorite motorsport he walked up to the booth instantly; there he met a nice couple named Sarisha and Tyler warner and started talking with them curious what they do. Ended up that they had owned a small business called Wrecked Neck Racing. That build derby cars for high schools all over Utah. He told them his situation and they offered to help. After months of planning at holding secret meetings, the plan finally got approved by the fairgrounds. The truth was ready to be unveiled. They posted a few teaser pics for their fans to guess what the new big thing for Elko was. The truth was Revealed at Summit Raceway later that year. After the race season had ended it was time for the first ever Get Wrecked Demo Derby. It was a massive hit selling out the grandstands, having great car count, having great crowd participation, the crowd chanting get wrecked after Ben Conrads rollover, and more. It was even the talk of the town the next day. the day after derby it was the raceways banquet where Blake was surprised by his first racecar. He had been wanting to do any type of motorsport since birth pretty much. He was so excited he got a Honda accord to race gifted by Ryan Greenberg, Corre Lafrance, and Chris Baxter. He was able to gather a few sponsors for his rookie year till things turned for the worst. It was no secret the car needed a lot of work such as seat remounting, roll cage work, motor work, and paint. Blake always cared about how a car looks more than how fast it is, so he was worried about paint the most. Soon he realized the car would not be able to run in time so with his sponsor money he went down to Dayton NV and got a 1999 Honda Accord that was the blue number 11. He then rebranded the car with his signature black, gray/silver, and red. After some cagework with his dad, He called it Gwen based on the Total Drama character. He later graduated Elko High School in 2024 at age 17. Now 18 he went on to race his first race in August 2024 placing 6th. He then went on to race gold rush getting 6th the first night and 5th the second. Blake did not win rookie of the year as he wanted to, but you can't win everything. Then he experienced probably the best weekend of his life ge could probably ask for. He booked out a hotel room for him and his friend on derby weekend for Friday and Saturday. When he got off work from Industrial Supply, he went to go buy a new dresser and pick up his best friend Zach (They had been friends since kindergarten). They later got Wingers and some alcohol to have a pre derby hangout to swim in the pool, eat, and drink. Later that night another great friend of Blakes ended up hanging with us at the hotel for the weekend. Her name was Natalia Shine which is actually the daughter of Blakes all-time favorite derby driver since before he started kindergarten Joe Shine. Which is the reason why Blake loves the No Fear brand so much and also the game Dirt Showdown Helped Influence it. He hung out with them for the entire weekend partying and watching the derby that he started with those two. He could not ask for a better weekend. Later that year after a few more life events he recreated his website entirely and started up a store which is not out at the time of reading this. Blake has personally met a lot of people and accomplished a lot of things since it all started in 2016. He has met Mike Scott (Friend To Many), Davey Munoz (Nevada's Best Announcer), Wally Turner (Sniper Monster Truck Driver), Joe Shine (his childhood icon), Christian Stevenson (DJ BBQ, the voice of the dirt game series) Al Borda (skin Industries CEO), MTV ridiculousness, and many more you can view all these people in the sponsors tab, special thanks & sponsors tab, and the pit crew tab. Even gone to many city's, county's, states to do his work.
